Legendary Osanna is back! With a new line-up but still representing the spirit that was always typical for the original band, but with a new, dynamic, innovative and passionate sound. David Jackson from Van Der Graaf generator joined this project, becoming much more than a guest but a stable element of the band, contributing with a strong added value, and so did guest stars Gianni Leone (Balletto di Bronzo), David Cross (King Crimson), Tim Stevens, Lello Brandi and the other guests, who enriched the project with their talent and creativeness, creating a true and deep-hearted homage to this historical band. Lino Vairetti knew how to gather a real "Prog family" rearranging Osanna's classic tunes keeping the vintage sound of the electric and acoustic guitars, synths as Mellotron and Hammond, and especially the flute and saxophone of David Jackson. The 2LP also includes a stunning version of Theme One by Van Der Graaf Generator! Over 70 minutes of music, gatefold sleeve LP. Tracklist: TEMA/ANIMALE SENZA RESPIRO/MIRROR TRAIN/L'UOMO/A ZINGARA/CE VULESSE CE VULESSE/FUJE 'A CHISTU PAESE/IL CASTELLO DELL'ES/ORO CALDO/MY MIND FLIES/L'AMORE VINCERA' DI NUOVO/EVERYBODY'S GONNA SEE YOU DIE/IN UN VECCHIO CIECO/VADO VERSO UNA META/SOLO UNITI/THEME ONE/THERE WILL BE TIME

Proteo began playing rock n'roll in 1996, but soon moved on to progressive. Their sound is immediate but rich with articulated arragements; a kind of prog-pop. In the summer of 2005 Proteo played at the Trieste Summer Rock Festival CONTEST and played as supporting act of Banco del Mutuo Soccorso. In 2006 they started working on their very first album, Under A Red Polar Light, with the aid of studio engineer Diego Pernich. It includes 9 tracks for about 60 minutes and it has been released by MaRaCash records on the 14th September 2009.

Finally on CD what is probably the biggest rarity of the mythical Cinevox catalogue (the one that released Cherry Five, Goblin, and Reale Impero Britannico)! Motowns where an English band that arrived from Liverpool to Italy in the mid sixties. Their first album came out in 1967, “Sì, proprio i Motowns” on RCA, followed by a long series of singles, most of them being cover version of beat music hits. After some label changes and some other singles, they were signed to Cinevox in 1971 and immediately recorded “Motowns”, a record that is far away from their beat origins, being halfway between psychedelia and classic progressive, It’s only because of its extreme rarity that such a great record was never noticed by prog-lovers, a it represents the missing link in the progressive discography of the Cinevox label, and is also an interesting connection between British and Italian progrock. This first-time-ever reissue faithfully reproduces the orginal artwork and contains detailed liner notes by musical journalist Franco Vichi.
