PROGRESSIVE   NEW Brand new album for Atomixynergy, with some good heavy rock-edged progrock. Vacuum is a concept album made of energic and angry riffs, but also ballads, emotional solos, dark atmospheres and a touch of sadness. Very nice, especially if you are into songs with very shifting moods. English lyrics.

PROGRESSIVE   NEW This was the fourth album from Banco del Mutuo soccorso. It was recorded in 1974 for the ELP's Manticore Label. It features english versions of 5 tracks, 2 from the first album and 3 from the third one plus two new excellent tracks "Chorale" and "L'albero del pane" the latter sung in italian. Now digital remastered from the original master tapes with a new booklet. A fantastic reissue! Dopo il successo delle ristampe della Premiata Forneria Marconi (P.F.M.), l’ etichetta inglese ESOTERIC RECORDINGS segna un altro centro ristampando i dischi del BANCO DEL MUTUO SOCCORSO, la celebre band PROGRESSIVE ROCK italiana del cantante FRANCESCO DI GIACOMO e dei fratelli GIANNI e VITTORIO NOCENZI. Nel 1975 il gruppo, che all’ estero era conosciuto con il nome “contratto” BANCO, realizza questo album in lingua inglese per la MANTICORE, l’ etichetta inglese di proprietà di GREG LAKE degli Emerson, Lake & Palmer. Il lavoro riproponeva alcuni dei brani dei primi album del gruppo, attingendo soprattutto dal terzo “Io Sono Nato Libero”, con nuove versioni completamente ri-suonate e cantate in lingua inglese. La particolarità del cd era inoltre il brano INEDITO “L’Albero Del Pane”, cantato invece in lingua italiana, e contenuto solo in questa uscita. Tra i brani contenuti troverete la versione in inglese di “Non Mi Rompete”, qui intitolata “Leave Me Alone”, uno dei brani più famosi del gruppo romano. Questa nuova versione del lavoro curata dall’ etichetta Esoteric Recordings, ormai considerata dagli esperti come la miglior etichetta di ristampe in circolazione, è stata completamente RI-MASTERIZZATA con l’ uso dei master analogici originali, dotata di una bella veste grafica con storia del gruppo e molte foto, come consuetudine delle ristampe ultra-curate dalla label inglese. Possiamo adesso ascoltare le versioni “internazionali” di alcuni dei momenti più belli del PROGRESSIVE ROCK del Banco, tra i quali spiccano le versioni anglofone di “Il Ragno” (“The Spider”), “Quando la buona gente dice” (“When Good People Counsel”), “Slogan” e di “Si dice che i delfini parlino” (“They Say dolphins Speak”), lo stupendo brano con l’ospitata di ANGELO BRANDUARDI al violino ! Questa nuova versione del lavoro curata dall’ etichetta Esoteric Recordings, ormai considerata dagli esperti come la miglior etichetta di ristampe in circolazione, è stata completamente RI-MASTERIZZATA con l’ uso dei master analogici originali, dotata di una bella veste grafica con storia del gruppo e molte foto, come consuetudine delle ristampe ultra-curate dalla label inglese. Le Orme were another of those bands coming from the beat era that had the most convincing musical evolution in the 70's. They were formed in Marghera (nearVenice) in 1966 but their debut came in 1967 with Fiori e colori, recorded by the original four-piece line-up. The band had a successful single with Senti l'estate che torna and recorded their first album Ad Gloriam at the end of 1968, releasing it the following year. Faithfully restored and reprinted in the original sleeve.

The band had a successful single with Senti l'estate che torna and recorded their first album Ad Gloriam at the end of 1968, releasing it the following year. Housed in a psychy sleeve the album is still regarded as one of the best in the Italian beat, with the music having a slight psychedelic touch in songs like Io non so restare solo, Fumo, Milano 1968. In 1970 the band signed a contract with Philips, that released their subsequent 10 albums in ten years. The old label Car Juke Box released L'Aurora, a compilation of their singles tracks that's also very rare now. [source: www.italianprog.com].
